MISSON
The Environmental Protection Office will
protect human health and the environment,
including the air, water, flora and fauna,
ecological systems and natural resources on
and about the Tohono O’odham Nation by
monitoring and enforcement of environmental
laws and regulations including production,
collection, transportation and disposal of solid
and hazardous waste.

If your organization, village, community,
or district is planning a clean-up event
and wants our assistance, please contact
us; we can provide bags, grabbing tools
and staff assistance.
DISCOVER PROGRAMS
Also, available upon request, are
presentations by the staff providing “face
to face” interaction and exhibit booth
which distributes informational
brochures, fact sheets, pamphlets, and
promotional items.
UPCOMING EVENTS
Environmental education is a strong
element in providing the public with
awareness and knowledge. Awareness is
key in dealing with the environmental
health and safety of the Nation.
